The People Pulling Ahead With AI Aren't Creators
The Best Use Of AI In My Cohort Isn't What You'd Guess
There’s one member who stands out in the Claude for Creators cohort I’m running now.
He’s not building a newsletter.
He’s not launching a course.
He doesn’t have a podcast.
He’s a retired guy who volunteers with Rotary, and his two local clubs are merging.
Which means he has to compare four sets of bylaws and four sets of supporting documents and find every meaningful difference between them.
This is the kind of task that, two years ago, would have taken a paralegal a long weekend. Or a volunteer like him months.
He ran it through Claude in nine minutes. Got a clean side-by-side. Flagged the discrepancies. Sent it to the committee.
What struck me on the call wasn’t the time savings.
It was the look on his face when he realized he’d just given himself back the weekend.
I watch a lot of creators chase the wrong AI use case.
They try to use it to write the next newsletter. Or generate a viral hook. Or whip up a sales page in 12 minutes.
Meanwhile the highest-leverage move is sitting right there in the boring stuff. The proposals. The contracts. The client onboarding doc that takes you four hours every time.
That’s where you get your nights and weekends back.
The content stuff is fun. But the admin work is where AI buys back your life.

P.S. I’m starting the next Claude for Creators cohort late this summer. Click here to learn more and grab your spot. I limit the group to 10 people so everyone gets attention and support.
